Description

Do your students know that construction doesn’t just mean hammers and hard labour?

We’d like to introduce them to the real world of the construction industry in Manitoba. Manitoba’s construction industry represents a billion-dollar workforce that employs apprentices, heavy equipment operators, estimators, site supervisors, human resource specialists, education specialists, engineers, o ce workers, accountants and more.

The Manitoba Construction Sector Council would like to come and present at your school or attend your career fair. We have an interactive presentation for elementary, middle years and high school students to learn about the wealth of opportunities the construction industry in Manitoba offers.

This School Presentation Includes three components:

  1. “Your Life’s Work” and Trade Talk videos
  2. An engaging discussion
  3. Use of digital technology game-based learning

tools on MCSC IPads and Virtual Reality Headsets

We would like for you to invite us to your career fairs and or Options events, we have a team of presenters and partners we work closely with to ensure your students get the hands-on experience from our game-based learning tools and the visuals from our made-in-Manitoba Trade Talk videos, along with brochures  lled with helpful information from over 55 different trades.
