Description
The Manitoba Construction Sector Council collaborated with industry partners to create a Mould and Asbestos Removal/Remediation course that will address specific training gaps in the home building industry throughout Manitoba. This course has been designed as a standalone course for entry-level construction workers and, alternatively, as a condensed add-on course for graduates of the MCSC Finisher course.
The Mould and Asbestos Removal/Remediation course combines classroom and practical learning activities. It will teach technical skills (knowledge of tools, equipment and processes) and embed safety training and Essential Skills throughout the program (reading, measurement document use, communication, physical dexterity, working with others).
Career opportunities can be found in the construction industry.
