Description
This program has been designed to support the Glazing industry in Manitoba, provide pathways for education and employment, result in a Manitoba Glazier Certificate, and offer experienced glaziers an opportunity to challenge the curriculum for credit toward the certificate.
Work-based Training
Accumulate hours towards the required 6480 hours to meet the SAIT Red Seal requirements for the interprovincial exam and certification. Red Seal certification is optional; however, all technical training will follow Red Seal standards. Graduates will be able to complete their training if they choose to do so.
Modular Design
Each module may be completed independently or challenged by an experienced learner. All modules must be successfully completed or challenged to receive a Level 1 certificate of completion. The same process will be followed for Levels 2 and 3. Additional modules that are not mandatory will be added to Level 3 in specialized areas, such as RockGlass.
