Description
MCSC’s five-week, full-time training for existing employees in the Architectural Cladding skilled trade course pilot is underway at MCSC’s training space. With such high demand for employers seeking to upskill their employees in this skilled trade, training has been opened to 20+ participants. A full house of cladders joined in to share, learn, upskill and to become future mentors in this skilled trade. Participants in this training include Transcona Roofing, Thermo Design, Temple Metal Roofs, Oakwood Roofing, Pierre Bison, Arrow Exteriors, and Claude Simard Metals. Special thanks to Blaine Laschuk, serving as the facilitator for this training that’s providing practical hands-on training.
Training Schedule will be outside of normal work hours.
Theory training to take place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (3 hours)
Practical training to take place every Saturday (6 to 8 hours) location(s) to be determined.

Must be currently employed as a cladder.
Accreditation
Upon successful completion , credential from Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) will be presented.
Completion Requirements
Must attend all sessions to receive accreditation.
