Description
This program has been designed to support the Architectural cladding industry in Manitoba, provide pathways for education and employment, and result in a Manitoba Architectural Cladding Certificate. It is expected that both unemployed participants and currently employed construction workers may be enrolled in this course.
Modular design – Modules can be taught in the order in which they are listed or changed to suit the audience or company’s time restrictions. All modules are standalone topics.
Modules may include theory tests, activities or exams, as well as practical application checklists.

Module 2: Safety
Module 3: Trade math, blueprints and terminology
Module 4: Hand and power tools, materials and accessories
Module 5: Building Envelope
Module 6: Installation

Five weeks full time, 172 hours in total ( 35 hours per week)

Entrance Requirements
Grade 10 and an aptitude to learn Architectural Cladding
Accreditation
Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) Micro-Credential certificate
Completion Requirements
- Minimum grade of 70% in each theory topic
- Successful completion of practical applications – minimum passing grade of 80%
