MCSC’s SkySkills drone training, in partnership with New Media Manitoba (NMM) is currently developing LiDAR drone training, which will be rolled out in 2025. In the meantime, MCSC, NMM, along with its training partner, Critical Ops (all pictured above), held an information session in late November at NMM’s studio at 201 Portage Avenue – Concourse Level to showcase LiDAR’s technology and how it will be applied to the construction industry in Manitoba.

In November, the province announced special funding for specific sector council training, including the LiDAR training. MCSC would also like to recognize the province’s commitment to developing technology and the training to support the workers who will move it all forward.
