Job Overview
Reporting to the Vice-President, as the Window Covering Sales Consultant you will plan and generate
targeted sales within your customer portfolio. You also act as the liaison between the business unit and
the customers, ensuring delivery of excellent service to exceed customer expectations.

Principal Duties
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the primary contact for clients relative to product information and facilitating product
selections according to their requirements and preferences.
• Developing precise project expectations and updating clients on building process to ensure
positive customer experience.
• Maintaining positive relationships with clients to promote sales while identifying and soliciting
new clients.
• Researching and attending training to stay current with product knowledge, specifications,
industry trends and preferences, and ongoing promotions of market competitors.
• Establishing and fostering positive relationships with colleagues to promote a collaborative work
environment.
• Receiving, counting and tagging incoming window covering products to prevent errors with
delivery, products being damaged and wrong materials being delivered.
• Scheduling site measures and installation dates with our Installation Sub-trade(s) and following
up with clients and/or builder upon completion of installation.
• Providing up-to-date attendance schedules with The Floor Show’s Retail Sales Manager as well
as Qualico’s designQ Director as time will be split between The Floor Show location and Qualico
designQ.
• Tracking, documenting and removing any discontinued products.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of window covering sales experience.
• Prior experience in the retail and new home industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel).
