Job Description

As a Site Foreman with 204 Demolition and Salvage, you will be a pivotal leader on our job sites, overseeing all aspects of projects from start to finish. You will manage and coordinate the work of all team members to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling work activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. You will be the primary point of contact on-site to address any concerns and provide updates on project status. Additionally, you will be  responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and utilized. Your leadership, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will be crucial in driving the  success of our projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the demolition industry

Principal Duties

Key responsibilities include:
• Project Leadership
o Assume overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects.
o Lead and manage the site team, including subcontractors, ensuring coordination and
collaboration.
• Project Planning
o Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
o Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
o Maintain project records, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
• Safety Compliance
o Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all work complies with safety
regulations and company policies.
o Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
o Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
• Quality Assurance
o Monitor construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications, quality
standards, and industry best practices.
o Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections as needed.
o Address quality issues and deviations promptly.
• Problem Solving
o Identify project-related issues and challenges and work proactively to find solutions.
o Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to resolve any project delays or
roadblocks.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:
• Previous experience in a site foreman or construction leadership role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and safety protocols.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Valid Class 5 or greater Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites is required.
