Job Details

Principal Duties

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Winnipeg, as the Machine Operator :

  • Maintains high production numbers for daily goals
  • Produces product with an emphasis on quality
  • Operates complex machinery and make running adjustments as required
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures
  • Provides feedback and maintenance requests to improve machine performance
  • Completes all assigned Quality checks
  • Participates in training and cross training, improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
  • Adheres to all workplace safety policies and regulations

 

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing company, an asset
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Highly punctual
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations, an asset
  • Physical ability to lift to 50lb
  • Standing at least 80% of the time
  • PPE required
  • Overtime as required
  • Hazards associated with the trade
