The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of order entry for Price Electronics customers and provides confirmation of purchase orders for production product and repair/rework orders. Create new electronic part numbers and maintain BOM’s as required.

Principal Duties
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- Perform all duties with a high level of accuracy. A high level of data accuracy and organization is required paying specific attention to purchase order correctness, currency type and part numbers.
- Communicate both verbally and written in a clear and understandable fashion.
Sales Order Entry and Maintenance:
- Review all new purchase orders or purchase order revisions for completeness and adherence to terms.
Enter in Customer purchase order demand into ERP:
- Confirm a delivery date to the customer.
- Communicate with customer to provide service updates.
- Communicate orders or any order updates to the Price production team.
- Track the progress of upcoming orders.
Create new Part Numbers in ERP:
- Using semi-automated tools to check if new part number(s) are needed.
- Using semi-automated tools to create new part numbers.
- Verify all information before entering into ERP system.
- Creating new top-level assemblies (noting revision control).
Supports the Price sales and manufacturing team by:
- Responding to customer requests for improved delivery.
- Notifying the customer of certain or potential delivery delays.
- Responding to the customer’s requests for rescheduling, cancellation and return of orders or product.
- Responding to the customer’s reports of shipping or billing errors or discrepancies as needed.
- Consulting with personnel to resolve material shortages and production issues.
- Assist with the resolution of customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Participate in improvement initiatives and ongoing process improvement teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Previous experience in a Sales Support, Customer Service, Contract Administration, or technical support role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
- Must be able to deal effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams/Outlook.
- ERP experience considered an asset.
