Job Description
Automotive Service Technician
The successful candidate will inspect, maintain, and repair company vehicles and perform safety checks and vehicle inspections for licensing and insurance.

Principal Duties
Other duties include:
- Test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly
- Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined
- Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, fluid levels and rotating tires
- Repair or replace parts
- Maintain and repair small gas engines
- Disassemble and reassemble parts
- Use testing equipment to ensure effective maintenance
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per shift during peak season including weekends)
- Must have a valid MB Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 3 or 1 an asset)
- Must have a complete set of mechanic’s hand tools on their first day of employment
- Ability to work with little or no supervision at times
- Work within a group and/or independently
- Must be physically capable of routine manual labour including heavy lifting
- Be detailed oriented, mechanically inclined and have the ability to trouble shoot
- Minimum of level 2 to journeyman with future education opportunities
- Electronic systems experience in GM, Ford and Dodge products as asset Benefits:
