Job Description
CanPat Builders Ltd. is looking for an immediate hire for a Red Seal metal fabricator. This will be a permanent full time position, reporting to the shop supervisor.

Principal Duties
Applicants will be expected to form, fabricate, fit and install heavy equipment parts and components in a fast paced industrial environment using the equipment listed above. Ability to add additional structural support where required. Applicants will have the ability to operate line boring machines at the shop and on customer premises.
Applicant will be expected to operate the following machinery:
- Lathe
- Milling machine
- Press brake
- Plasma table
- Band saw
- Iron worker
- Line boring machine
- Welder
Qualifications
- 2-5 years welding experience in a shop setting
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must have the ability to interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
- Must have the ability to visualize in three-dimensions
- Self starter, dependable, customer oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Critical thinker
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Valid welding certifications required:
- SMAW: All positions
- GMAW: Flat/horizontal
Drivers license required
