The Manitoba Construction Sector Council collaborated with industry partners to create the Project Management Course. These course modules were developed by owners of construction firms, managers of human resource departments, and experts in important issues like legislation, employee recruitment, retention, and diversity. The variety of activities, including case studies, simulations, and individual reflections ensure that new Project Managers practice their problem-solving abilities to make better decisions.
This Project Management course will also aid senior construction supervisors and company owners learn to better address the complex human resource issues that are part of a contemporary workforce. Leading a workforce at a senior level requires superior management skills, great communication skills, knowledge of human resource legislation and practices, and the ability to create positive change as a means to strengthening your company.
